What is All the Fuss over the Marine GPS?

A GPS-Marine is one of the more important things on your boat before sailing on open waters. Several years ago, the only people with them on a boat trip was a few yards, fishing gear and tackle a few boxes of Dramamine. Prior to this the only thing people were worried about whether they catch fish and how to avoid seasickness It seems that almost everyone now has a GPS car in the car, it is logic and on land, so why not at sea While most are able to navigate easily between large bodies of water much more complicated.
